NBA Recap: December 12

  • Derrick Rose scored a season high 31 points as the Bulls beat the Blazers 115-106.
  • The Wizards ended Clippers 9 game winning streak as Bradley Beal scored a season high 29 points in a 104-96 win at home.
  • The Atlanta Hawks continue to roll as they extended their winning streak to 9 games when they beat the Magic 87-81.
  • The Knicks found a way to win their 5th game of the season against the Celtics with a 101-95 win.
  • The Sixers had another 4th quarter melt down as they lose their 20th game of the season to the Nets in a 88-70 loss.
  • Louis Williams carried the Raptors off the bench with 26 points in a home win against the Pacers, 106-94.
  • Memphis continued to dominant at home but the Bobcats didn’t make this one easy. However, the Grizzlies prevailed in double OT with a 113-107 win.
  • The Thunder are now 5-1 with Durant back in the lineup. They beat the Timberwolves 111-92.
  • Lebron James scored 41 points but it wasn’t enough against the Pelicans who beat the Cavs 119-114. Anthony Davis left in the first quarter with a chest contusion.
  • The Pistons dominated the Suns on the boards and got the late win 105-103.
  • Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh combined for 51 points with a road win against the Jazz, 100-95
  • Kobe Bryant pulled within 8 points of Michael Jordan on the All Time Points list and Nick Young hit an off-balanced, one foot, heavily defended 3 pointer with 7 seconds left in OT. Lakers prevailed with the 112-110 win.
