NBA Recap: December 13

  • The Golden State Warriors extended their win streak to 15 games when they went into Dallas and beat the Mavericks, 105-88.
  • Coming off an OT loss to the Grizzlies, the Hornets took on the New Jersey Nets at home. The Hornets looked fatigued as they were blown out, 114-87.
  • The Blazers lost 2 straight before heading into Indiana last night. They looked like they were back to form as they beat the Pacers, 95-85.
  • In their second matchup in back-to-back nights, the Atlanta Hawks traveled to Orlando to face the Magic. Tobias Harris hit a 15 footer as time expired to give Orlando the 100-99 win.
  • In the final game of their 3 game road trip, the LA Clippers lost to the Milwaukee Bucks, 111-106.
  • The Sixers looked to win just their 3rd game of the season as they hosted the Memphis Grizzlies. The Sixers were cruising in this game and almost pulled off the upset but Mike Conley had other plans when he hit a 3 pointer at the end of regulation. The Grizzlies ended up winning, 120-115, in OT.
  • After missing 11 straight games, Dwight Howard returned to the lineup last night against the Denver Nuggets. Howard posted 26 points and 13 rebounds. The Rockets went on to win the game, 108-96.
  • In the final game of the night cap, Detroit made their way to Sacramento to face the Kings. The Pistons pulled away late and won the game, 95-90.
