2015 NFL Preseason Outlook: DALLAS COWBOYS

2015 NFL Preseason Outlook: DALLAS COWBOYS

Key Additions: RB Darren McFadden, DE Greg Hardy, DE Randy Gregory (R)

Key Losses: RB DeMarco Murray, WR  Dwayne Harris, LB Bruce Carter

2014 Record: 12-4 (4-2 Division)

The Dallas Cowboys had the league’s leading rusher join a hated division rival through free agency. The veteran QB and TE got a year older. The team and it’s star WR are coming off a messy contract negotiation, not to mention a training camp fight also involving that same star receiver. This is a team that has super bowl aspirations…….. The team has talent but it will be interesting to see if they can repeat last year’s success.

The Cowboys signing of McFadden looks to be to add depth because the team really likes RB Joseph Randle. The running game will a take a step back minus Murray but the defense will be much better with the additions of Hardy and Gregory to rush the passer. Sean Lee is returning from injury also and that’s huge because he is the QB of this defense. The health of the O-line is key for Dallas. If the guys up front stay healthy the team will be one of the better teams in the NFC.
