the North Carolina Tar Heels are known as a basketball school but in 2015 they showed that the football program is not to shabby. 11-3 record and almost 41 points per game is nothing to scoff at. Quarterback Marquise Williams has moved on to the NFL so that’s over 4,000 yards of production gone. In a stacked ACC it will be missed.
RB Elijah Hood ran for 1,463 yards and 17 TDs last year. The team will need another phenomenal season from him and presumed starting Quarterback Mitch Trubisky for the team repeat and build on the success they had last season.
Notable 2016 games:
Sept. 3rd vs Georgia
Oct. 1st @ Florida State
Oct. 15th @ Miami
