NCAA Football Top 25 Preview: #12 Georgia Bulldogs
Georgia Bulldogs (2015 record 10-3)
Pass yards per game: 187.1 (103rd)
Rush yards per game: 194.3 (36th)
Points scored per game: 26.5 (tied 86th)
Points allowed per game: 16.9 (9th)
The Bulldogs had a solid 10-3 record in 2015 but im sure they wish the month of October never happened. Georgia went undefeated in September and November but lost 3 of the 4 games they played in October. The one game they did win in October they couldn’t muster up 1 touchdown. The Dawgs had one of the top defenses in the nation, ranking 9th im points allowed.
RB Nick Chubb is returning from injury this year but Sony Michel did a solid job in his absence, running for over 1,100 yards. If the Georgia running backs can stay healthy and that defense continues to give up less than 17 points per game, this team can contend in the SEC.
Notable 2016 games:
Sept. 3rd vs North Carolina
Sept. 24th @ Ole Miss
Oct. 1st. Vs Tennessee
