NCAA Football Top 25 Preview: #10 Tennessee Volunteers

Tennessee Volunteers (2015 record 9-4)

Pass yards per game: 199.0 (93rd)

Rush yards per game: 223.5 (21st)

Points scored per game: 34.3 (35th)

Points allowed per game: 21.2 (25th)

The Tennessee Vols didn’t have the most success in 2015 as far as wins and losses were concerned but they really found something with their ground attack. RB Jalen Hurd ran for 1,288 yards which is phenomenal but they had 2 other runners top 600 yards (RB Alvin Kamara and QB Joshua Dobbs).

Dobbs is a guy that can make plays with his arm and his feet. The ability to run the ball that they displayed last year coupled with an above average defense (25th in points allowed), Tennessee could hurt a few teams title chances in their conference.
