NCAA Football Top 25 Preview: #6 LSU Tigers

LSU Tigers (2015 record 9-3)

Paas yards per game: 173.1 (111th)

Rush yards per game: 245.9 (9th)

Points scored per game: 30.7 (57th)

The LSU Tigers had a breakout player in 2015 and his name was Leonard Fournette. Leonard ran for 1,953 yards and 22 TDs, he was a true leader on the team. QB Brandon Harris played well on occasions but wasn’t consistent enough for his team. LSU only gave up 30+ points 3 times last season and all 3 of those games were losses.

The Tigers will need Leonard Fournette to lead that top 10 rushing attack again in 2016 if they have any chance at an SEC title or shot at the national championship.

Notable 2016 games:

Oct. 22nd vs Ole Miss

Nov. 5th vs Alabama
