SCARECROWGRIN FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEKLY: NOV. 9th, 2017
FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 10
With 6 teams on bye week we saw some spot start players come in and light it up for fantasy owners. Matt Forte ( fantasy points) and Robert Woods ( fantasy points) both posted a 2 touchdown game in week 9. If you started them, there’s a good chance you walked away with a win ( good chance, not definite though lol )
NUMBERS 1 AND 2 CLOCK IN AT 1 AND 3
The numbers 1 and 2 picks of the 2016 NFL Draft were two of the top 3 scorers in fantasy football in week 9. #1 pick Jared Goff ( 38.44 fantasy points ) and his Rams went across the country to destroy the New York Giants as #2 pick Carson Wentz ( 32.76 fantasy points ) welcomed in the #1 defense and the Denver Broncos, he proceeded to do the same as Goff did. Both teams scored 51 points and more impressively, it was the first time in NFL history that a #1 and #2 pick from the same draft both threw 4 TDs on the same day. So to say their teams made the right call on draft day is an understatement.
T.Y. RETURNS AND JAY CUTS UP THE RAIDERS
In classic boom or bust fashion, Colts WR TY Hilton ( 36.50 fantasy points ) came out and had more receiving yards and TDs vs the Texans than he’s had in his last 3 games combined, in fact he almost tripled his yardage output with 175 yards and 2 TDs. Another really good performance came from QB Jay Cutler ( 32.44 fantasy points ) who in his return from a rib injury threw for 311 yards and 3 TDs against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday night football. He didnt win the game but that part makes us no nevermind in fantasy football.
BYES: Eagles, Ravens, Chiefs, Raiders
BREAKOUT CANDIDATES WEEK 9 (RESULTS)
QB – Brett Hundley – 18.00
RB – Tevin Coleman – 9.40

Hundley posted 18 points, thats respectable for a late streaming option. Coleman didn’t see the touches I expected but he did produce a TD in his minimal work. Dez didnt finish the game against the Chiefs that and a constant safety over top kept him in check.

Stop by next week to see how our all Northeastern BOC’s faired in their week 10 match ups.
