Into the double digit weeks we go and also into the beginning of the colder weather (Football Weather). With 4 teams on the bye and 6 divisional games it was interesting to see the matchups and point production this week in fantasy football

Week 10 started with what was anticipated as a heavyweight bout between Cam Newton’s Panthers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. A Great first drive by the Panthers was capped by a Christian Mccaffery (36.80 PPR points) TD catch but after that he seemed to be the only Carolina bright spot, he would end up with all 3 of the Panthers scores. Ben Rothlisberger (47.82 PPR points) threw for 5 TDs 0 ints and 328 yards on his way to a 52-21 rout in the Steel city. Antonio Brown (21.60 PPR points) and JuJu Smith-Schuster (19.30 PPR points) both caught long TDs from Ben in this one.

A few rookies took center stage in week 10. These performances show us that the NFL will be in great hands moving into the future. Mitchell Trubisky (44.00 PPR points) had 4 more TDs (3 passing, 1 rushing) against Detroit on their way to another win as they continue to lead the NFC North. Over in the AFC North, running back Nick Chubb (38.90 PPR points) and quarterback Baker Mayfield (28.64 PPR points) powered the Browns to an upset of the Atlanta Falcons.

We had a couple huge point scoring games out of some top flight tight ends in week 10 as well. Zach Ertz (40.50 PPR points) hauled in a staggering 14 catches for 145 yards and 2 TDs vs the Cowboys on sunday night football and Eric Ebron (28.10 PPR points) only say 4 touches but he made his 3 receptions and 1 carry count as he snagged 2 TDs and ran one in for a total of 3 scores. Falcons TE Austin Hooper (21.60 PPR points) had 10 catches for only 56 yards but he added a TD for good measure.

Ezekiel Elliott (38.70 PPR points) had 187 total yards on 25 touches and 2 TDs against the Eagles while the Packers running back Aaron Jones (32.20 PPR points) totaled 172 yards on 18 touches with 2 rushing TDs. Tyreek Hill (32.70 PPR points) torched the Cardinals for 7 receptions and 117 yards. 2 of those catches went for touchdowns, he was also able to add 1 rush for 20 yards to his stat sheet.

QB – Philip Rivers – 19.02 PPR points

RB – David Johnson – 38.30 PPR points

WR – Amari Cooper – 13.50 PPR points

70.82 is a solid total for our 3 Breakout Candidates. Philip Rivers could’ve had a bigger game but it seemed that the air quality due to the California wildfires effected all the players and the Chargers only put up 20 points. David Johnson had 28 touches 183 total yards and 2 TDs against the Chiefs and Amari Cooper helped the Dallas Cowboys knock off the Super Bowl champion Eagles with 6 receptions and 75 yards.

QB – Marcus Mariota – @ Colts

RB – Aaron Jones – @ Seahawks

WR – Kenny Golladay – vs Panthers

Thanks for dropping by to get our Review and our Breakout Candidates. Come back the same time next week to see how the predictions panned out.
