2019 NFL Draft Prospect: DEVIN BUSH

2019 NFL Draft Prospect: DEVIN BUSH

Devin Bush

School: Michigan

Position: ILB

Height: 5’11

Weight: 234 lbs

STRENGTHS

High Motor guy is a statement or term that all professional athletes would like to have attached to their name. Devin Bush has that to go with 4.43 speed and a 41 inch vertical. He’s a very good tackler and He has the speed and coverage ability to stay with tight ends and slot receivers. His NFL career will be predicated on speed and his ability to stay healthy.

WEAKNESSES

Bush has to improve when it comes to run defense. for someone as fast and aggressive as he is, he should be better at stopping the run. He finds himself out of position sometimes on running plays and he must fix that at the next level. His 5’11 frame could be an issue when the NFL tight ends average height is between 6’3 and 6’4. He has coverage ability but defending a tall tight end in the red zone where high pointing the ball is the name of the game could be sketchy for him.

NFL PLAYER COMPARISON
